STS Summer Swap

Here is a pic of the block I pieced and finished 1/2 for my cqfornewbies group. Judy will complete the block and return it to me. I will do the same for her.

This is a picture of my work on Carol's block. The only rule is that everything must be purple.

This is I'mani's first sweater grom grandma. The buttons are little elephants.

I just finished these two blankets for I'mani. The pink blanket has a flannel backing to keep her nice and warm. The heirloom blanket is made of swiss batiste.

This is my work on Sharon's Green Block. I did not add the piece of lace. I also added the spider rose sprig in the second picture.

Janet's Spring Block

This is a picture of Janet's spring block. She pieced the block and added some embellishments. I added the beadwork, tree, daisys, bird in tree, 2 cats and silk ribbon roses. I love her fence.

Here is a baby blanket I made for my niece. It is actualy two knit blankets that are crocheted into one.

The washcloths are crochet cotton.















The bonnet is made of swiss batiste with swiss lace.

Baby I'mani A'yana was born in Germany on March 13 at 1:17AM. She was 5 lbs 12 oz and 18 inches. Her name means beautiful faithful flower in Swahalii. She sure is. We can hardly wait to see her in person.

These are pictures of the crazy quilt wedding purse I made for my niece's wedding. She will be married in Arizona in three days. DH and I are flying to Phoenix in two days for the wedding and then on to Sedona for a much needed R & R.

This is my block for my color purple RR. I am in the "Purple People Eaters." Five different people will each have a chance to embellish two seams and a patch over the next six months.

Here are pics of my half finished spring block. Now it goes to Janet who will finish it and I will finish hers. This has been a fun swap and Gerry is a great hostess.

I went to embellish the first half of my spring block and could not locate it. Faster to make a new block and then, hopefully, the first one will show up.

Here is my work on Debbie's Study in Green RR block. We are to do two seam treatments and one block piece. I used a combination of embroidery sitiches, beads, and crystals. I hope she likes it.
