After our breakfast of pineapple and toast with Maui honey, we spent a good part of the morning on the lanai whale watching. We saw one breech four times. What a spectacular site!!! We saw another whale breach three times. The whales were putting on quite a show if you knew what to look for on the horizon. We knew thanks to the whale watching trip the Childs family sent us on.
Today we drove to the North side of the island. We found Dt Fleming Park. This is where many of the surfers like to go. It is the only beach on Maui with a life guard.
The surf is pretty rough. As you look at the following pictures, the tiny specs in the water are surfers.
We ended the day with our last trip to Island Cream Co. It has been a fabulous trip. We stayed in a beautiful condo. The food was delish. And the company was unforgettable - I love you Scott.
